ATMOSPHERE EVENT COMMUNICATIONS: AEROPLAN RAISES $66,000 FOR FONDATION DANS LA RUE

Atmosphere Event Communications is a leader in conceptualizing new and engaging ways to mobilize audiences into action. It is through special events that Atmosphere brings its ideas to fruition.

This month, their concept for Aeroplan's annual company event was no different. The concept had all the right elements: engaging, interactive and impactful with an objective.
The event , in collaboration with Aeroplan was the vehicle to bring awareness and raise funds for fondation Dans la rue. A Montreal organization which aids the homeless.
It is said that you never really understand someone until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes. For 24 hours Aeroplan employees experienced first hand what it might be like to be homeless. Loss, hardship, challenges fear and hopelessness.
Over a period of two days, employees participated in activities geared around supporting kids on the street, including sandwich making for the homeless, street fund raising for Dans la rue, insights and learnings from a homeless veteran and a sleep-out in a parking lot in downtown Montreal.
Through this experiential experience, Aeroplan's employees raised $33,000 for the foundation. Aeroplan matched that figure for a total of $66,000.
Prior to the event, a fundraising website was launched and a social media campaign helped to create awareness around this important cause.
The event was recognized and covered by numerous media agencies.

Here are a few below.

The brainchild for the idea was thought out by Atmosphere's visionary president, Jason Katz.

Here are some highlights from the event.
Bare boned production added to the overall feel of the event.

We are honored to have been part of such an extremely important initiative.
